assalamualaikum…
another year goes by. another year coming in. another year will be added up to our age. will the new one gonna be the better ones? hard to say...hard even to make an assumption isn’t? but the hopes were definitely be there. there’s nothing wrong with giving hope, but assuring to attach it with effort would make it more luscious.
was the last one is the not-so-fruitful ones? that’s actually depending to the eyes of the beholder. it varies from one person to another. for me, I can’t say much...whatever happen – happens. it’s not ‘the year’ to be blame and it’s not ‘the year’ which getting the credit. as I’ve said in my last posting...a year is merely just ‘a year’. it’s just a period of time which we logged ourselves into it.
bad or good things happen were apparently resulted from ‘Qada & Qadar’. as Muslim were strongly without-any- single doubt belief in this. it’s in our belief system. Qada & Qadar are things that being set by Allah. we need somehow to make ourselves get-use with the result – either it sweet or sour. it’s not an easy task but we need to.
we don’t question the past. past is past, we can’t alter the past. we can however probably deal with it. there’s nothing we do able to change it. we might able to play small part during the ‘pre’....like exercising DUIT (doa, usaha, ikhtiar, tawakkal), make plans or whatever but we definitely couldn’t do even a small-tiny things for the ‘post’. it’s all up to Allah. if it was done in such a way then the results (with Allah’s willing) may emerge to be in such a way.
by not discarding the present time, we should also give focus to the future. be brave and positive and let the fear-to-uncertainty being tied-up at bay. there’s a lot to do for the future...wallahualam. Salam Maal Hijriah 1430 and Happy New Year 2009!
